The inaugural Eastern European Regional SCL Conference held in Belgrade, organized by Society of Construction Law Serbia, stood out for its high-level content as well as the strong sense of regional collaboration it fostered.
As President of SCL Türkiye, our founding partner Yasemin Çetinel participated as a speaker in the panel on “Digital technologies and AI on construction sites and in dispute avoidance / resolution”. The sessions -particularly those addressing emerging topics such as AI in construction - were notably candid and experience-driven, with speakers openly sharing practical insights and challenges from their respective jurisdictions.
One of the most striking aspects of the conference was the active participation of SCL communities across the region, including SCL Bulgaria, SCL Hungary, SCL Poland, SCL Romania and SCL Türkiye, contributing to a genuinely collaborative and forward-looking exchange. Beyond the panels themselves, the event created a strong platform for reinforcing professional relationships and underscored the growing importance of coordinated dialogue in the region’s construction law landscape.
Our colleagues Muhammet Bembeyaz and Ebru Çetinel also attended the conference on behalf of our firm.
